So this was the big weekend to get our commercial shot and ready for us to edit. It was a long and hard effort because we had a few people who were not able to show. On top of that I was running late on picking up my friend Chris. This was bad because Jason, one of my group members, had a friend who had to leave early. So when I got back to school she had to go. Lucky for us she was able to come back and help us get the scenes that we needed.
I was the main character in the commercial, which was fun but also very stressful because people had to come and go. I would have liked for our resources to be more professional but we did the best that we could considering that we are all on the ultra low student budget.
Overall it seemed to work out very nicely and hopefully we can all work together and make a good commercial while editing it.
Other then that we have not done to many different things but because we finished the filming we now have the hardest part done.

Week 7 Blog and PodCast
So this is the 8th week of school and this weekend we start filming our commercial. It should be fun but I am kinda worried because I don't know if everything is going to go as smoothly as I want.
So far we have 2 of our 3 shot locations and I worried that the piece we are missing is actually going to work out with the same quality as the other shots we have. On top of that I am worried that we are not going to do the editing right and that Steve will wind up not liking our idea. But, we can only do the best that we can.
Wish us luck and hopefully everything will work out the way we plan.

Week 3 Blog and PodCast
So this is my second blog! Everything seems to be going well so far. I am still a bit lost but overall this class seems to be OK. I am hoping that everything will start to level out and that I will get a better grasp on the class overall.

Week 4 Blog and PodCast
Today was a normal day in class. We just had lecture and time to work with our groups. We started getting together all of the things we needed for our RGX commercial that was green lighted by Steve.
I think that everything is going to work out well because our group is active and always checking up on each other to make sure that we are getting what we needed done.
Besides that we didn't do much else ha ha.

Week 5 Blog and PodCast
This is the fifth week in class and today Dan was out of class due to back issues. We did not do a whole lot as far as class work and lecture goes. We learned about cameras and the equipment that we would be using on our commercial.
Most of the work that we did today was for the group project. We did our shot sheet and got all of the locations we were going to use figured out. The only problem we had was getting the waiting room set up. I had to email a teacher of mine from high school to see if we could use their main building to film. Hopefully everything will work out fine and we will be able to use their facility.
Besides that we did not do much in class today and hopefully we will get more done next week to make sure that we have little problems with our commercial.

Week 6 Blog and PodCast
So this is the fifth week of school and we are really starting to get going. We have been green lighted by Steve on our RGX commercial and we have started putting together all of the stuff we need. I'm in charge of doing the storyboard for the group. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and we will be able to get our commercial done without any stress or hitches.
We talked to Steve about their new ideas and gave him feedback on what we thought about RGX's new marketing campaign. Overall today was a good class and we did more then we usually do as far as class discussion goes.
